Chefs hat award winner in 2020 this place really is something special. A mix between a classy cocktail bar and a French asina fusion restaurant you can find a wide variety of reasons to indulge. The menu is made with sharing in mind so bring a few of your foodie friends and your appetite. The dish to try at the moment is hands down the Crispy Pork Belly with shaved brussel sprouts, granny smith apples and notes of mint and sesame seeds to top it all off. And for dessert be sure to save room for the ginger crème brulee which is something your taste buds won't be forgetting for a long time to come.
The Alkaline Café
If healthy food is your prerogative then this place is going to be your new favorite. This cosy café serves up some truly nourishing meals and drinks that are mostly vegan, vegetarian and gluten free. Cosy up here for a long coffee or tea with a nice book or good friend. With heaps of comfy seating options and an eclectic design that almost makes you feel as if you are in someone's living room is one of the many draws for this café. Try the big brekkie and a fresh juice while you are here, the tofu scramble and tempeh hash browns are amazing. You will forget it is even vegan!
New to the food scene in Albany, this wine and tapas bar specializes in scrumptious seafood paired with some amazing local wines. The vibe here is fresh and modern so prepare to sip your bubbles and tear into some seared local marron in a light and bright space with sleek dark modern accents. Crowd pleasers here would have to be the western Australian Cray or the char roasted Marron.
If you would like a stunning view to accompany your stunning meal then Garrison is your place. Perched upon the top of Mount Clarence you will find here expansive views of the King George Sound and beyond. Be sure to put aside some time for this experience. Slow food and progressive meals are the go here and share plates are the norm so bring your loved ones and enjoy the view as you slowly work your way through the menu while enjoying the natural beauty around you. They have a seasonal menu here that focuses on local flavours such as manjimup truffle oil and fresh produce from the surrounding areas.
