A Guide to Fremantle Cafes

Now let’s have a chat about our two favorite things, Fremantle and Cafes. Honestly, what could be better than sipping a hot cappuccino while reading a newly found second hand book from the shop around the corner while listening to the buskers playing in the background. These are vibes you will find only in Freo. But with heaps of cafes around every corner it can be a daunting decision where to go. But do not fear we have your freo café guide right here. Whether you are after a quiet place to sit and work, a space to watch the world go by, a space with an eclectic aesthetic, or simply a quick place to grab a quick coffee and the best bagel you have ever tasted (in Australia) then we have the café for you.

Hush Specialty Coffee

In a rush and need something to grab and go? Hush is the spot for you. A loyal and reliable caffeine stop for many freo locals and visitors alike, hush has been serving up quality coffees and delicious grab and go brekkie for years. They have a simple menu with both sit down and take away options available. Our advice, try their everything bagel toasted with cream cheese. It is as close as you will get to a real American bagel. Or if you need something a bit more substantial try the 48 hour slow roast brisket benni. And if you are really in a rush don’t fear you can even order your coffee ahead of time with the skippapp and completely skip the long morning coffee que.

Constantly buzzing with artists, architects, uni students, professors, and tourists alike this place is a work of art in and of itself. Enjoy a coffee or breakfast in the galleries shady courtyard, or curl up with a book inside as you enjoy their selection of sustainably sourced locally made body nurturing goodies such as their hempseed hotcakes with fresh fruit and coconut cream.

Bib & Tucker

Keen for a boozy brunch at the bougiest café in Fremantle, then this is the spot for you. Bib & Tucker is located in North Freo on Leighton Beach. Here you will find stunning ocean front views to gaze at as you treat yourself to a luxurious breakfast or brunch. And if you are feeling so inclined we highly recommend you try an adult beverage alongside your coffee, we know you want to! Our personal brunch favorite is the pineapple & burnt orange margarita but you can also try their signature breakfast martini or the breakfast classics such as the mimosa or bloody mary.
